I have been praying for a candidate that I could feel safe with. As a Conservation christian, I didn’t see anyone in the field running; then I began hearing about Mike Hukabee, I think back in October. I have asked God to send us someone we could look to for the leadership this country needs and I believe that man is Mike Huckabee. I hope to find other bloggers in my state of Florida and my home state of Virginia that feel the same way.
His integrity in running a non-negative campaign will take him to the White House. But he definately needs the Prayerful support ( and financial) of people like you and me.

I love that the two Iowa winners are the two most advocating change in this country, but Huckabee’s brand of change seems frightens me a bit. As a non-Christian, I wonder how atheists, agnostics, and every other non-Christian would fit into his worldview as president. I detest his stance on gay rights and find it appalling that he continues to stand by his ignorant comments about AIDS victims back in the early 1990s, and I’m still not sure how someone who so claims to believe and follow Jesus Christ could make the argument that capital punishment is alright because if Jesus had opposed killing people, he would have begged for clemency on the cross. We need Obama.
